DAVID LAVOIE QUARTET

Spend the afternoon with a collective of some of the city’s brightest young jazz musicians, all active contributors to Calgary’s scene as educators, composers, and performers. This powerhouse ensemble will present standards and music written by group members, making each performance unique through improvisation and collaborative play. Led by David Lavoie, playing trumpet and EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument), the quartet is rounded out by Joanna Borromeo on keys, Adam Pettigrew on bass and Nate Chiang on drums.
